

Wyat
t Elrod began his martial arts training 17 years ago at the age
of 3. His parents, Hall of Fame Master Instructors Julie and Ron Elrod, own and operate the American Academy of Martial Arts. The academy is one of the largest mixed martial arts schools in the United States.
He holds a 5th degree black belt in the Taikido-Jitsu Fighting System. Taikido-Jitsu blends together the striking, throws, pins, chokes, and joint locks from Taijutsu, Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, and Jiu-Jitsu, and utilizes techniques from Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, and Muay Thai. Wyatt also has 5th degree black belts in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and holds black belts in Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. 
Wyatt is a featherweight (145 lbs) and bantamweight (135 lbs) mixed martial arts fighter. Standing 5' 10'' and weighing in at a lean 160lbs, Wyatt is one of the largest bantamweight and featherweight fighters in mixed martial arts. He is a technical and explosive striker with one punch knockout power, and is known for delivering devastating knees.
He is a member of the American Academy of Martial Arts Fight Team known as Team Shinobi Elite. The members of TSE compete
in mixed martial arts, submission grappling, boxing, and wrestling.
